March is National Kidney Disease Awareness Month
Moms Network believe is promoting health, healing and great causes! Did you know March is National Kidney Disease Awareness Month? Today, a staggering 1 in 10 people have kidney disease. That’s over 26 million Americans and most do not find out until their kidney disease is advanced.
The Mendez National Institute of Transplantation Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to advancing the science and practice of organ transplantation and end-stage organ disease therapies through research, education, and innovation. They created the “Get the Facts! Get Checked! Get Healthy!” PSA, starring Paul Rodriguez and Gloria Garayua, which encourages the public to learn more about kidney disease prevention and to keep your kidneys healthy and happy.
